Terms of Service
This page is a general summary of how this website works and what happens when you send us a request. Last updated August 18, 2026.
What this site is
It is reading material. It says who we are, what we work on, and where we work, and it explains problems homeowners run into with heating and cooling equipment.
Everything written here describes a typical house and a typical system. Yours may be different. Nothing on this site is a diagnosis of your equipment, because we have not seen your equipment.
Sending a form is a request, not an agreement
When you fill out a form here, you are asking us to get in touch. That is all it does. It does not book a visit, and it does not create an agreement for us to do work at your home.
Nothing is on the calendar until someone here confirms it with you by phone, text, or email. If you have not heard back from a person, treat the time as not yet set.
Estimates come in writing before work begins
Any estimate or quote for your job is put in writing and sent to you before the work starts. If what needs doing changes once we are there, you get the change in writing too, and you decide whether to keep going.
Nothing on this website is an offer or a commitment on what your job will come to. The written estimate is the only number that counts.
Calls and text messages
Giving us your number so we can text you is optional, and it is not a condition of getting service. Reply STOP to any text from us and the texts stop. Your phone carrier may charge you for messages, depending on your plan.
Where the responsibility sits
We stand behind the work we do on your system. This website is a separate thing, and it cannot see your equipment.
So if you act on something you read here without having someone look at the system, that decision is yours and so is the outcome. We are also not responsible for the site being unreachable, or for a message that never got to us because something between your phone and ours went wrong.
Say a loss is tied to this website rather than to work we performed. What we owe then is limited to what you paid us for the service it relates to, to the extent the law allows.
Your part
Give us accurate information on the form, especially the address and the phone number, so the visit lands where it should. The writing, photographs, and drawings on this site belong to us, so please do not copy them onto another site.
Maryland law, and changes to this page
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Maryland.
We update this page when the way we work changes. The date at the top tells you when it last changed. Questions go to office@moraheatingandair.com or (240) 224-3419.
Ready to have someone actually look at it?
Or tell us what your system is doing
Send us the details and we will call you back. If the house is very hot or very cold right now, calling is faster.
