Sizing Comes First

An oversized heat pump short cycles, controls humidity poorly, and wears out sooner. An undersized one runs constantly and never quite catches up on the coldest days. The only way to get it right is to measure the house room by room: insulation, windows, orientation, air leakage, and duct condition.
